The Chinese engineering education professional certification association issued notice, publishing on the professional certification conclusion ([2020] no. 15). In 2019, five majors of GDUT passed Chinese engineering education professional certification, respectively. They are mechanical design and manufacturing and automation, communications engineering, automation, network engineering, environmental engineering, certification is valid for six years (January 2020 - December 2025). The automation acquired professional certification for the first time in 2017 and passed again in the review.

As of June 2020, 15 majors of our university have passed the professional certification (evaluation), and the number of passed majors (within the validity period) ranks first in the province. Apart from the above five majors, project management, building environment and energy application engineering, architecture, urban and rural planning, four majors have passed the ministry of professional assessment; pharmaceutical engineering, metal material engineering, information engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and its automation, 6 majors have passed the certification of Chinese engineering education.
