In Forbes China's recent list of China's best CEOs, Dr. Zhang Xuezheng, a 1997 alumni of our school, chairman and CEO of Wingtech, and chairman and CEO of Nexperia Semiconductor, ranked 31ston the list, and he is the third youngest CEO in the top 50. After graduating from our school, Dr. Zhang Xuezheng has successful working experience in STMICRO electronics and other companies. He has a master's degree from Cheung Kong Business School/PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University, and a PhD in finance from PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University and Geneva University.
Dr. Zhang Xuezheng founded Wingtech in 2006, under the leadership of him, Wingtech become China's largest IDH (Independent Design House) in 1 year, become the world's largest mobile phone ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) in 5 years, become a mainstream global communication enterprises in 10 years. In 2019, Dr. Zhang Xuezheng, leading to complete China's largest semiconductor acquisition, successfully acquired the European semiconductor giant, Nexperia semiconductor. And later, he served as the President and CEO of Nexperia semiconductor, help Wingtech’s business covering from the chip design, wafer manufacturing, semiconductor packaging, test, IoT, industry, communication terminal, computer, auto electronic products, the value of which is more than a 100 billion.
