Team Introduction:

The Big Watermelon Team was established in June 2011. It is a college student innovation team composed of students from multiple majors. It aims to comprehensively enhance the innovation ability through a new perspective of production, education, research and teaching. This team is currently composed of students from various schools (e.g., information technology, automation, computer science, physics, etc.) and implements a unified management, and interdisciplinary cooperation and exchange.

The team organizes members participate in enterprise engineering projects, academic research projects, seminar, and other academic activities. The students can therefore understand the development trend of information, electronics, computer science. This team therefore carry out technological research project and practical exploration by demonstrating above activities.

Main Research fields: Embedded system design and development; Image processing and machine learning; Android APP development and web development; IoT; Industrial visual inspection, intelligent video surveillance, intelligent instrumentation.

Main Projects: Intelligent water quality monitoring system based on deep learning; Automatic lens pick-and-place device; Intelligent breast cancer diagnosis based on machine learning and image processing.
